The center of Milan tells its story
The day begins in the heart of Milan, in Piazza Duomo, where the Cathedral dominates that “great city machine” capable of leaving its mark.
Then we get on our open-top double-decker buses: from above, students perceive the city with a broader perspective, immediately connecting history, art, and urban geography.
With the guides of Beyond the Border then a part walking tour between the Royal Palace, Via dei Mercanti and the Sforza Castle: among anecdotes, curiosities, small "feats of arms" and court gossip, the streets become a dynamic story which keeps the class's attention alive.
At the end of the walking tour, the lunch break at the Sforza Castle.
It is an educational trip to Milan ideal for middle school: inclusive and well-paced, stimulates curiosity, critical thinking and active citizenship through direct experience of places.
