Milan is studied with all the senses
Milan becomes an open-air classroom: on board a open-top double-decker panoramic bus students observe the city from above and build connections between history, architecture and curiosities, on a journey that stimulates questions and a spirit of discovery.
In the afternoon the experience deepens at’Institute for the Blind, with a guided itinerary that invites you to bring listening, touch, and imagination into play, experimenting with a different way of orienting yourself and understanding.
This is where “seeing” changes meaning: not just looking, but understand, respect and include.
The program is designed for middle school and promotes civic education, attention to urban heritage and awareness of diversity.
During the day, a walk in one of the most iconic streets of Milan and lunch inside the Sforza Castle complete a journey that combines emotion and growth.

BEYOND THE LOOK It is an educational trip for middle school, dynamic and inclusive: it connects the Historic Milan and the contemporary one and integrates the guided experience to the’Institute for the Blind.
• Panoramic tour from above: students observe Milan from a new perspective, recognizing details and connections between places and urban transformations.
• Path to the Institute for the Blind: they experiment with activities that teach them not to rely only on sight and to value listening, touch and orientation.
• Walk along an iconic street: Milan experienced step by step, amidst traces of history and daily life, with attention to detail.
• Lunch at the Sforza Castle: a break in a symbolic place that becomes an opportunity to observe, share and tell.
The result? An experience that involves students, It helps teachers work on learning objectives and leaves the class with a shared, concrete, and meaningful memory.
